God designed marriage to be lived in the midst of relationships and we have a place for you at Southern Hills.

If you are not currently connected to a Sunday morning LifeGroup (Sunday school @ 9:15am) and you are interested in joining us – Southern Hills Baptist Church has two great options for young married couples…

Marriage 1.0 - This class is designed for couples who are pre-altar, post-altar…and in their 20’s. The class is topical – but based upon Bible principles that will be applicable to relationships, marriage, and well…just living life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Led by one or our great couples mentors, Steve and Jamie Watkins.

Young Married - that is led by two amazing couples; Monty & Kathy Curry and David & Joyce Starr. They share their lives and life experiences to a growing and vibrant group of young couples who are in the midst of life. They are striving to build family foundations that are based upon Biblical truths which will live for the next generation. Married in their late 20’s and 30’s.

Grunewald/Whiteman Life Group – This Life Group consists of adult couples in their 30s and early 40s. You will meet lots of married couples who have started families. You will be motivated by encouraging and dynamic teaching as we experience interactive Bible Study with application for today. Come be apart of married couples supporting one another as their children face the early years of school.

PARENTING: Parents of Youth class

To bring parents of teenagers into a fellowship group that will provide spiritual growth, marital strengthening, networking with other parents, and parenting helps. Meets at 9:15 every Sunday morning. Led by Steve and Jamie Watkins and Evan & Linda Dare.

MARRIAGE: "PREP" Marriage Education Workshop

This six week workshop is designed to teach practical skills that will enhance your marriage or prepare for a future marrage. The PREP material is a research based program to teach couples how to communicate effectively, work as a team to solve problems, manage conflicts without damaging closeness, and preserve and enhance love, commitment and friendship. PREP (Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program) is part of the Oklahoma Marriage Initiave program which is offered at various times and locations all over the state by over 2000 trained professionals.  To find more information and workshop locations go to www.okmarriage.org/Services/MarriageEducationWorshops.asp
